After his ascension to the throne, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi took up the construction of a modern palace. It was indeed a new era for the people of Offa. One can not but appreciate his love for infrastructure as a graduate of building technology. While the construction was in progress, Oba Mufutau stayed at his Muu road residence. Behold, 7 months later, a state-of-the-art magnificent complex was completed and commissioned on the 18th December 2010 by the then Governor of Kwara State, Dr Bukola Saraki. The people of Offa trooped to have a view of the multimillion naira palace which is one of the best in Africa.

The palace has several buildings among which is a multi-purpose oba Esuwoye hall, kaa esin, kaa Moremi, meeting halls, royal dining halls, residential apartments, offices, and the open space Aganju for social/ cultural activities.

Recently, the palace was renovated to give it a facelift 10years after construction.

Indeed, HRM Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye ll has left an unerasable footprint like his grandfather Oba Esuwoye I (1926 – 1936) who roofed the old palace with corrugated iron sheets and replaced the thatched roofs.

Long may you reign Oba Muhammed Mufutau Oloyede Gbadamosi Okikiola Ilufemiloye Ajagungbade I Esuwoye ll 👑
